The Art of Sharing

My neighborhood has several families that grow food to different degrees. Some of us have large gardens and some of us are starting the first garden. I find that most gardeners are very open about sharing growing tips, cooking and preserving tips, and extra veggie starts.  I love the way the food brings people together, an exchange done with heart and soul.

  2. Beautifully said! I'm a start up vegetable gardener. This is my second year planting more than 2 different things. I was at the store the other day and a guy asked me if I garden. I told him I was a rookie. We started talking and he's a newbie. He was wanting to grow Bok Choy. I was so excited that it was something I grew last year. I told what I knew. It made me proud to know that as a rookie, I could still pay it forward and give someone else advice! =0)
